Mount Bisbino

Monte Bisbino (1,325 m) is one of the most fascinating and challenging climbs in Mendrisiotto.

Located on the border between Switzerland and Italy, it offers a scenic and secluded road, with breathtaking views of Lake Como and the Prealps.

The climb starts from Cernobbio, winds through woods and tight hairpin bends, and features constant gradients with sections of up to 13%.

At the top is the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Bisbino,

Its slopes are also home to the evocative Bisbino horses, a herd of semi-wild horses.
