Muggio Valley

The Muggio Valley is the southernmost valley in Switzerland and one of the most authentic places in Ticino. Here, time seems to have stood still: small stone villages, still-active mountain pastures, dry-stone walls, and lush vegetation create a landscape with an ancient and authentic feel.

Cycle through it along narrow, winding roads, with gentle but steady climbs and views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

From Morbio Superiore to Roncapiano, passing through Sagno, Muggio, Cabbio and Bruzella, up to the climbs on the opposite side towards Casima and Obino, the Muggio Valley is a place that surprises with its silent and pristine beauty.
